i suppose there are times when one is bound to be miserable

and times when one is exhausted from the climax of ecstasy

the second i do not know of but ..

well let me tell you about the first..

the door knocks at me
and a motion grants entrance

measured steps take me into consciousness
a flower presents herself
and the fragrance of introduction is exchanged

sounds of unordinary shake hands
the lips clinch the tired smile for another moment
and bubbles of enchanted laughter mourn my arrival

exodus of darkness stabs breath of light
a grave is prepared
and my heart commands

steps, indifference, obey
the consciousness dissolves
and the door closes behind

and

the mirror
stares at me

with your light-footed quick motions

with your rush of laughter

with your intense look

while lost in the waives of words

brushing the white shores of a page

when the dram beat of your breathing is heard

through the gentle dance of your nipples

rising

falling

as if embarrassed to ask

may i have this dance

as they rush to present

morsels of sweet to your expecting lips
